Tap2Chart 1.0.3 Maintenance Release 1 and 2

Tap2Chart 1.0.3 Maintenance Release 2

Note: The enhancements below work with SYSTOC 7.51 Maintenance Release 2 and above.
Area Changes

Manage Injury > Physician Diagnosis memo updates

A new SYSTOC Program Preferences option, Update Physician Diagnosis, lets you manage when data is updated in the Injury > Physician Diagnosis memo when a Tap2Chart note is saved.

The default status of this option is selected. When Update Physician Diagnosis is unselected, the data in the memo is not overwritten each time the latest treatment with a status of T is saved. This is helpful for OSHA 300 Log users so that when the memo is modified, the modified version displays in the (F) column of the OSHA 300 Log report. (41848)

ICD-10 codes effective date

You can add a global ICD-10 effective date in SYSTOC Program Preferences. When a treatment date is equal to or greater than the date in the field, only ICD-10 codes display when searching for diagnoses in the Diagnosis section. (59193)

Note: The enhancement below works with SYSTOC 7.50 and above.
Area Changes

Injury records linked to a Rehabilitation case

A saved Tap2Chart note does not update the SYSTOC Physician Diagnosis memo and ICD codes on Injury from Treatment when: (a) the note is associated with a SYSTOC order with an appointment type of Rehabilitation, and (b) the SYSTOC treatment has a Rehabilitation Treatment Code and is the latest saved treatment with a status of T. This feature is useful for physical therapy and rehabilitation services where the ICD codes and memo on Injury do not need to be updated with every treatment. (54404)

Resolved Issues

Note: The resolved issues below work with SYSTOC 7.50 and above.
Area Changes

ICD-10 codes in Diagnosis

ICD-10 codes that displayed in the Diagnosis section when SYSTOC > Program Preferences > ICD Code Lookup was set to ICD-9 no longer display. Now when the ICD-9 code option is selected in SYSTOC, only ICD-9 codes display in Tap2Chart. (40193)

Google Chrome issue in form drop-down menus

An issue with Google Chrome Version 43.0.2357.81 m was resolved, where drop-down menus within a form section (Options > Manage Library) and in Admin mode (Manage Library > Tap2Chart > Forms) were hidden from view before a selection could be made. The program was adapted so that the options now remain in view when you hover over them to make a selection. (59814)

Enhancements

Area Changes
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 Revision history (8-26-2015): the information in this row was updated. See technical requirements documents for information about running Tap2Chart and SYSTOC on a tablet computer.
Web browsers
  • Using a new screen that was added to SYSTOC > Program Preferences > Browser Settings, you can select the web browser to use for launching Tap2Chart. This can be helpful when you want to use a browser other than your default browser for Tap2Chart. See Browser Settings in SYSTOC Help. (21707)
  • Support was added for Internet Explorer 11. (30347)
Orders
  • When a Tap2Chart user finalizes a note with a confidential section, the SYSTOC order grid updates the confidential note as follows (provided the user’s Medical Staff ID and User ID are identical and the Staff record is active):
    • Done is selected
    • Done By populates with the user’s Staff ID

Note: If a user's Medical Staff ID is not identical to the User ID, or Medical Staff ID is inactive, or the user has no Medical Staff ID, no changes are made. (21871)

  • Finalizing a note in Tap2Chart now updates SYSTOC sequences according to the sequence configuration defined for the Task Prototype. Note: the original order must have an assigned sequence number. Confidential notes do not update the SYSTOC sequences. (19988)
Forms
  • Manage Tap2Chart Forms: A new option, Requires Injury?, lets you select whether a form requires an Injury ID. The option is selected by default on existing and new forms.
    • Clear Requires Injury? on a form that does not require an Injury ID. For example, an independent medical exam form does not need a SYSTOC Injury ID.
    • When the option is cleared, injury data does not write back to SYSTOC.
    • See Form Edit Mode. (21861)
Previous Notes
  • You can now select which sections of a previous note copy from the source note to the destination note when using copy prior note.
    • An administrator can set up which sections to copy (or not copy) by selecting Allow Copy Data for Section? from the Options drop-down list in the individual sections of each form.
    • A user with administrative permissions can select or clear the option while working in a note, without affecting the form. (21869)
  • Injury ID and injury date now display on previous visits, to make it easier to identify the correct visit when using copy prior note. (30631)
  • The transcription text from the Tap2Chart sections listed below now update non-Tap2Chart forms in SYSTOC when you select Copy Prior Data. If you have customized the name of one of these sections, you must rename the section the original (default) name and save it. You can then change it back to your customized name to have the transcription text from the section be available when you select Copy Prior Data. (21709)
    • Dispensed Medication
    • Plan of Care
    • Splinting and Casting
Sections and Fields
  • Prescriptions section: orders for non-prescription items such as physical therapy can now be added in the Prescriptions section, using the Order Description field. The field must be added to the provider's prescription pad. See Prescriptions Section and Create or Edit a Prescription Pad in SYSTOC online help for additional information. (21865)
  • Diagnosis field: the following message now displays if you type an answer that does not exist in the SYSTOC ICD list and then navigate away from the field: Warning: Only entries from the list should be used. See Diagnosis Section. (27461)
Other
  • Additional Security: Cross-Frame Scripting protection was added to the Tap2Chart web.config file. (21863)
  • A Continuity of Care Record (CCR) is not sent if the Tap2Chart form used to create it does not require an injury. Note: CCR is a SYSTOC HL7 Exchange interface; configuration is required. (30398)

Resolved Issues

Area Changes
Orders in SYSTOC
  • When a company had multiple procedures that used the same Task ID in SYSTOC, and Tap2Chart tried to create an order using that Task ID, an error displayed and the order was not created. The issue no longer occurs. (24740)
In-Progress Notes
  • Secondary page headers did not display in Preview (PDF) mode or in finalized notes. They now display in both locations. (21870)
  • Incorrect formatting of Address 1, Address 2, and Injury Claim Number elements for page headers and prescriptions. Formatting is now correct.(21868)
  • SYSTOC order code text displayed in Tap2Chart transcription. The order code text no longer displays.(21872)
  • Notes displayed default male pronouns regardless of the patient's gender. The system now checks for the correct gender when a note is saved. (21265)
  • Notes with work status begin and end dates:
    • Did not display or save in tabs other than Discharge. (30715)
    • Generated a system message when View Transcription was performed in a note and the note was closed and re-opened. (30718)
  • The system message was revised that displays when you try to save a note in which a subordinate record is in use: A deadlocking error occurred while working with a note. Please try again. The new message displays when the system attempts to update or delete a record that is already in use by another process and the update or deletion cannot be completed. (22284)
  • Signature application delays occurred due to a resizing issue. The signature now applies correctly. (21180)
Previous Notes
  • During the Copy Data process, dates did not display in the destination note unless you refreshed the browser, clicked View/Edit Transcription, or exited and reopened the note. Dates now display immediately after the Copy Data process. (33851)
  • Previous notes did not display in the tab when the primary ICD code description in any note exceeded 100 characters. Previous notes now display. The diagnosis description displays only the amount that fits the width of the tab but a Copy Data process includes the entire length. (21174)
  • Using the Copy Data process on notes in which a section had been added and then deleted from the library caused the system to become unresponsive. (29147)
Sections and Fields
  • An issue was resolved when using Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 10 that prevented the prescription page from displaying when Print Prescriptions was pressed. Both browsers now display the page and you can print the prescription from the preview. (21866)
  • Tabbing from field to field in certain sections with multiple fields, such as Diagnosis, skipped fields at the end and went to the next section. Tabbing in all sections now moves correctly from field to field. (33926)
  • Adding a template to a section while working in Admin mode required refreshing the webpage to activate Apply Template. Now the button is active as soon as the template is saved. (32497)
  • Section labels overlaid each other in some sections. (21862)
  • Administrators who opened Tap2Chart from Program Preferences could not access the ICD code list in the Diagnosis section. (22145)
  • Adding a new time field, entering data into the new field, and saving the note produced an invalid time message when the note was saved. (33179)
Other
  • Imports/Exports: when exporting all sections from the library, the exporting process terminated with a system message and failed to create the export file. This now works correctly. (21272)
