Register the Patient on Arrival (Non-Rehab Appointment)

  1. Display the patient’s appointment on the Appointment Register screen and confirm demographic data and current employer. If any patient information needs to be updated, place your cursor in the Patient ID field, press Ctrl+J, and make any necessary changes on the Patient Summary screen. Save your changes and return to the Appointment Register.
  2. Change the appointment’s Status to T.
  3. If the Arrived time did not fill in automatically, click in that field and press F9.
  4. If this is an injury appointment, verify that there is an Inj ID indicated on the appointment screen. If not, click the lookup. Select the appropriate Injury ID or add one if needed. (Click Add, and complete the first two lines of the Injury screen. Save and then close the Injury screen; this will enter the new Injury ID.)
  5. If authorizations grid pops up, select the appropriate authorization for this appointment.
