Textbox Options

The Textbox option menu contains two different textbox choices: Add Textbox, which creates a field that accommodates a single line of text, and Add Multiline Textbox, which creates a field that displays up to four lines of text but accepts all that you enter. Entered text scrolls automatically as you fill a line. Add text breaks by pressing the Enter key, which moves your cursor and any text that follows it into a new line.

You can change the location and dimensions of both types of textboxes when working in Design Mode. This will allow you to expand textboxes so more text is visible. You can also display more text by using the Font Size option available from the editing option menu.

Note: You cannot scroll through textboxes in a flattened form. Before flattening, make sure that the entire contents of all textboxes – including single line textboxes, which scroll horizontally – are visible without scrolling. This may require increasing the size of the textbox or decreasing the font size.
