Attached File Icons

SYSTOC uses icons to indicate the type of file that is associated with an order. These icons, which appear in the second column (labeled "F" for File) of the orders grids, are automatically added when files are attached. The icons and their related file types and extensions are described in the following table.

Clicking on an icon activates an application that allows you to work with that file (assuming that such an application is available on your computer). Working with a file usually involves viewing data or inputting information.

The background color of the file attachment icon will be either white or dark teal. A white background behind the form icon means the attached PDF form has not been opened and subsequently saved (indicating that no work has been done in the form). PDF forms that have been saved at least once and all files that have been attached through the Orders - Attach File option have a dark teal background.

No PDF form or other file attached

This icon indicates that no PDF form (or other file) is attached to an order. You can attach a file to any order displaying this icon by clicking the icon to launch a browsing window. By default, SYSTOC browses to your computer's temporary file folder; however, you may browse to any folder. SYSTOC retains the path to the last file you selected.
