Patient Information Tabs

Use the right side of the Clinical Work Area screen to access patient information. A two-tiered system of tabs divides this area into sections. Some of these tabs contain search capabilities to locate specific data.

All of the Chart/Orders tabs contain orders grids and right click menu options similar to those available on the Schedule tab. An order describes one component of the patient visit. Orders ensure that all intended portions of the visit are completed in a specified manner. Providers that use the Clinical Work Area do not need a printed flow sheet; once an appointment is selected, the orders attached to that appointment display on the Current Orders tab. Individual orders can be marked "done" the same way that items are checked off a flow sheet. The background of orders so marked on the Current Orders tab will change to green and the order will drop to the bottom of the list after screen data are refreshed.
