Permission

Use permissions to define what activity is allowed for each Permission Group in each part of SYSTOC.

If you have not already done so, you should verify that the settings of the LEVEL1 users do not allow modification of data on the security screen. See also Modify Permissions for LEVEL1 Access.

Note: The report SYSTOC Security and Permissions, which is available from the F2 reports list, is useful for working on Permissions.

Label Description

Permission Group

The ID of the Permission Group assigned these rights.

Component Name

SYSTOC form where these rights may be exercised. A description of the form appears in the gray box below each name.

Allow View

Check to allow members of the permission group to view these data.

Allow Edit

Check to allow members of the group to change and save the data.

Allow List Query

Check to allow members of the permission group to query the file on the List view screen.

Allow Add

Check to allow members of the permission group to add new data.

Allow Delete

Check to allow members of the permission group to delete records in this file.

Allow Memo

Check to allow members of the permission group to view the memo.

Memo Change

Check to allow members of the permission group to edit the memo attached to this screen.

Note: If you are creating Treatment memos directly via either Transcription import or from PDF forms, you should uncheck Memo Change, because the import or form will overwrite any manual changes.

Allow Change ID

Check to allow members of the permission group to use the Change ID function on these data.
