Random Pools History Detail
The Random Pool History Detail screen is employee-oriented. It displays details about an employee’s status in a pool and/or sample. It tells you whether an employee was in the pool and eligible for selection; it tells whether that employee was selected or an alternate in the sample; and it tells whether the employee was actually tested.
The data displayed in the fields are either copied from Random Pools and Job History records or calculated automatically by SYSTOC. You may add a brief message in the Alcohol or Drug Comment fields, or use the F3 memo for lengthier input.
Label | Description |
---|---|
Pool ID | ID of the pool, entered by SYSTOC. For a single company pool this may be the same as the Company ID. |
Random ID | ID number assigned by SYSTOC to each randomization. Every time you use the randomize button in Random Pools SYSTOC allocates a unique number to the run. The Random ID is also included on the test result screens (drug or alcohol), providing a useful way to link a randomization with a test result. |
Selection Position | The position assigned to an employee by SYSTOC in the computer-generated random list. For example, if the field reads 4 , it indicates that the employee was the fourth individual to be selected in the sample. |
Random Number | Computer-generated random number, assigned to an employee prior to the selection step. Each pool member is assigned a random number, and the order of these numbers for the entire pool determines whether an employee is included in the current sample. |
Company ID | The ID of the company for which the employee works, copied from Job History. |
Department | The department for which the employee works, copied from Job History. |
