Split Pages

The Split Pages button provides additional flexibility by providing a means to separate a multi-page PDF into separate documents and then attach them individually. This is especially helpful if multiple patients' records come in the form of one file. The Split Pages button is enabled if the selected file is a PDF.

  1. Select the desired PDF file from the subdirectory.
  2. Indicate the page range to separate in the fields adjacent to the Split Pages button.
  3. Click on the Split Pages button to perform the separation.
  4. The new files are named _Tmp_1, _Tmp_2, etc, and appear at the top of the file directory list and the first split page becomes the active file in the list, ready for attaching.
Note: You can perform the split pages operation multiple times to split the original file into as many separate files necessary.
