Sections and Task Types
The Section field controls what screen will be used for data entry when a task becomes a patient order. It also assigns a Task Type category, which controls which tasks appear in F5 Lookups (fields with a magnifying glass icon) throughout the system.
If you want a task to appear on an F5 Lookup but the task does not require data entry, check the Skip Data Entry box and make your selections in the Section and Task Type fields. For example, you want ASPIRIN to appear on the Medications F5 Lookup for the Medication ID field, but don't want to require data entry when dispensing aspirin. Create an ASPIRIN task, select Section Medications, which in turn populates the Task Type with Medication, then click the Skip Data Entry box.
If you check the Exclude from CWA field at the top of the Task Prototype screen, the task will automatically become Non-Medical.
