Recommended Task Prototypes

The prototypes listed in the table below should exist in your basic data set. For new installations, most of these prototypes are part of the start-up data and will not need to be added. If you don't have these task prototypes, SYSTOC can provide an importable spreadsheet of recommended prototypes. Contact Technical Support for assistance.

ALGCON

Condition

When used, overwrite description with actual allergy or condition.

ATTCHMED

Medical

Used when attaching a scanned or electronic document to a patient's medical record. The ATTCH series might be expanded to include other useful tasks such as ATTCHLAB, ATTCHPT, etc.

COPAY

General

Reminder for collecting patient's copayment (for clinics providing urgent care/group health). Attach the form Cash Receipt, which provides a place to record the amount and give a receipt.

EMAIL

General

In Description type: Email results to ? at ?

FAX

General

In Description type: Fax results to ? at ?

GENERIC

General

An all-purpose task. Staff can edit the description as needed and optionally attach a PDF form.

HEPB1 HEPB2 HEPB3

Screening

This ID naming convention for the hepatitis B series is recommended since specialized SYSTOC functions are written for these task prototypes.

HEPA1 HEPA2

Screening

This ID naming convention for the hepatitis A series is recommended since specialized SYSTOC functions are written for these task prototypes.

MEDICATE

Condition

Use to specify a medication-related allergy.

NKA

Condition

No known allergies.

ONACCT

General

For noting any patient payment on account. Attach the form Cash Receipt . Be sure to set this task to Skip Charge Entry.

PHONERES

General

In Description type: Call results to ? at ? . Leave question marks as shown, for provider to complete.

REFAUTH

General

Authorization for referral. Attach Referral PDF.

REFSPEC

General

Refer to <specialist>. Attach Referral PDF.

REPORT

General

For attaching a SYSTOC-generated report to an order. The Attach File function expects to find this task prototype.

RX1 through RX8

Medication

For use by prescription-related PDFs. These should not be deleted from the startup data. If they are not there, add them, with a description of PDF prescription only, do not use.

TB

Screening

Required for making Immunization records from TB records. This ID must exist; the description may be anything you wish. You won't actually be using this task in a procedure; it is used by the program automatically if you use the Make Immunization Record button.

TB-PPD

Screening

Required by the TB form named TB-PPD Skin Test . If you are using the newer Tuberculosis Screening Test form instead, you do not need to have this Task ID in your data set.

TBFACTOR

Condition

Use to describe special circumstances making a patient at higher risk for tuberculosis.

TWINRIX1 - 3

Screening

First, second and third TWINRIX immunization for hepatitis A and B (one for each).
