Patient Status
On the Patient Status screen, you can add or remove patient status types or edit the colors associated with them.
You can set three color flags to indicate seven different patient statuses. Since the number of colors is small and the same color cannot be used twice in any status, it is best to use these flags for the status events that are most critical. The schedule will turn an appointment light gray to indicate a discharged patient, so there is no need to use flag colors for the status of Discharged.
These color flags will appear anywhere the schedule grid is displayed. Print the report Patient Status Reference Card by pressing F2 from this screen. It illustrates the color settings for each status.
