Determining the Appearance of Patient Identifiers

Patient-identifying information is sensitive and must be kept secure. SYSTOC lets you determine the appearance of the identifier on reports. This control is especially useful for reports that you send outside your clinic.

When creating a report, users control the appearance of the patient ID

The options available in the report specification are:

Patient ID - Use Patient ID from Patient Summary
Masked ID - Use Masked (XXX-XX-####) Patient ID from Patient Summary
Do Not Print - (Print neither ID nor label)
Birth Date - Use Birth Date (MM-DD-YYYY) from Patient Summary
Driv Lic # - Use Driver's License State & Number from Patient Summary
Med Rec # - Use Medical Record Number from Patient Summary
