Setting Corporate IDs for iSYSTOC Access

If you use iSYSTOC to provide access to multiple companies under one Corporate ID, be careful with Corporate vs. Company ID assignment. This topic provides an example of how they are different.

Create a company record just for the corporation (checkmark in the Corp Office field), and do not use that record for any patient services. None of the companies with patient data should have the same ID as the corporation.

Police Precinct Example

  1. Create a company record for the headquarters (corporation) with a Corporate and Company ID of POLICE and Corp Office field checked.
  2. Create a separate company record for each precinct with a Corporate ID of POLICE and unique Company ID such as POLICE1, POLICE2, etc.
  3. If you provide patient services to the headquarters, you will need a separate company record for the headquarters (no checkmark in the Corp Office field), with a Company ID of, perhaps, POLICEH.

To see all the injury activity for the entire organization, users log onto iSYSTOC with the POLICE corporate/company ID and view records for every precinct, including headquarters. To view only the injuries for employees who work at headquarters, log on with POLICEH. To see a particular precinct’s activity, log on with POLICE1, POLICE2, etc.
