Utility

The Utility menu choice is used to control security rights as well as many system-wide defaults. Because of this, access to parts of this section may be limited to the clinic administrator.

It is important to review all screens in this section before beginning “live” use of SYSTOC. Some of the important defaults to check include:

  • Preferences for Provider ID to use for billing injuries.
  • Using Invoicing, Tracking Charges, or both.
  • Starting invoice or tracking number.
  • Preferred formula for Pulmonary Function Testing.
  • Assignment of permission groups to users.
  • Whether to use reimburseable amounts for receipts.
  • Scheduling module defaults.
  • Signature device installation and setup.
  • Clinical Work Area defaults.
