Using Immunization to Record Hep B Vaccinations

The Immunization Status report can be used to demonstrate employee health compliance using data from multiple areas of SYSTOC, including Hepatitis B, Immunization, and Lab Test/Misc.

Considering the comprehensive scope of this report, some users will find it no longer necessary to use the Hepatitis B data-entry screen to record Hep B vaccinations or use the HEP Vaccination Status report to demonstrate compliance.

  • If your clinic never used the Hepatitis B data-entry screen and/or a PDF form to record Hep B vaccinations and always used the Immunization module, you can use this report to track Hep B vaccination compliance.
  • If your clinic always used the Hepatitis B data-entry screen and/or a PDF form to record Hep B vaccinations and continues to do so, you can use this report to track Hep B vaccination compliance or continue to use the HEP Vaccination Status report. (Since version 7.1, SYSTOC automatically creates immunization records for Hep B vaccinations entered via the Hepatitis B module.)
  • If your clinic used the Hepatitis B data-entry screen and/or a PDF form to record Hep B vaccinations in the past and you switch to using the Immunization module, you must discontinue use of the HEP Vaccination Status report to track Hep B records. (The Hepatitis B module automatically copies records to Immunization, but the Immunization module does not copy records to Hepatitis B, so the data included in the Hep status report will not be complete.)
