The Injury Folder organizes all
information about a health-related incident, whether injury, illness, or
exposure. It is a major module in SYSTOC and is critical for proper case
management and the accurate recording and invoicing of patient services.
Highlights of the Injury Folder:
- Data are transferred automatically from
injury files to invoices to minimize data entry.
- Medical records can be stored in text
memos attached to treatments or electronic forms (PDFs).
- All open injury cases can be tracked
via reports; patients do not become "lost" in the workers' compensation system.
- Changes in primary physician or case
manager are automatically stored in the Staff History record.
