Optional Third-Party Software for PDF Forms

The PDF file format is generally the best format for electronic records, as it is inherently compact and widely available. There are many free PDF readers (such as Adobe Reader and Foxit Reader) that provide a way to view and print PDF forms.

Note: There is a PDF reader within SYSTOC which includes view and print capabilities, so it is not necessary to have an outside version for working in SYSTOC.

PDF printer applications, many of them free, provide a way to convert non-PDF formats to PDF (Adobe PDF Printer is included with many Adobe products and CutePDF is a free application). If you intend to develop your own custom PDF forms using SYSTOC data, you will need a PDF editor such as Adobe Acrobat Professional.
