Working with Orders

There are four places to access Orders: from the Appointment Register, from the Inj/Ill Visit screen, from the Orders choice on the main menu, and from the Clinical Work Area.

Depending on your role in the clinic, you may use all or only one of these access points. Each view presents a slightly different arrangement of the fields on the screen. The table below shows differences in the four views and which personnel might use each.

Inj/Ill Visit Screen The Clinical Work Area has largely replaced the Inj/Ill Visit screen. However, if your facility is not using the CWA, the Inj/Ill Visit screen displays orders and attached forms for injury or illness-related visits. Physician, MA, Nurse, other medical staff
Orders (Options View Menu choice) Review clinic activity, handle billing if centralized. Search by done/not done status or sequence/ownership; also Data, Print, or Invoice components.
