Orders

Orders are possibly the most important part of SYSTOC, affecting almost every operation.

Orders serve these vital functions:

Storage of and access to the electronic medical record
Documentation of past activity
Workflow management
Accurate and defensible invoicing
Compliance with company-specific requests

Note: Even if your facility does not schedule with SYSTOC, you should still use orders for every patient visit.

Setup is extremely important for both orders and forms. If there are errors in the setup, the flow of the clinic will be affected.

Since PDF forms copy information directly to and from SYSTOC, it is vital that the fields in the form are correctly mapped to the corresponding fields. New forms should always be tested thoroughly before use.
