Creating Master Groups

A master group is a major category of clinic operations, such as Office Visits, Supplies, Laboratory. Take a look at existing master groups before deciding you need more. Master groups should be limited in number – fifteen should be plenty. The Clinic Manager should decide on master group names and add them all before clinic data entry begins.

There is no menu choice for creating the master groups. To make a new one, add or copy an existing task group record, place the cursor on the Master Group ID field, press F5 or the Lookup icon, then Add.
