Defining Task Prototypes

If you change an existing task prototype, SYSTOC asks whether you want to cascade the changes to copies of this task (in procedures or current and future orders). The cascading only affects the specific portion of the task that you changed. This is a powerful option that changes many tasks at once.

For example, if you change the WCI prototype, you will be changing all the WCI tasks that you have made for each company. Double-check that you really want to make this change for all tasks with the same ID. Orders that have already happened (yesterday and older) will not be affected by the change.
Note: Descriptions of task prototypes appear in many reports seen by patients and employers. Be careful to spell correctly.
