Custom Reports

SYSTOC reports are written in a program called Crystal Reports™. You can create your own custom reports if your clinic owns an appropriate version of the software and someone on your staff knows it or can learn how to use it.

Alternatively, a custom report can be created for you. Priority is given to reports that are critical to the running of the clinic, or that would be useful to a number of clinics.

Before requesting a custom report, spend some time planning what the report should do, then talk to your regional Implementation Specialist. Together you can decide if a custom report is the answer, or whether you can use a standard report in a non-standard manner to obtain the information you need.

Reports are kept in specific folders within the system. The folder named SITES is reserved for custom reports you write yourself. Reports kept in this folder will not be overwritten when installing system upgrades. Custom reports written by SYSTOC's report department are kept in a folder named CUSTOM. These reports may be accessed, modified, and even overwritten by SYSTOC Customer Support personnel.
