Report Printing

  1. Click on the Reports List button (or press F2 ) from the appropriate section of SYSTOC.
  2. If selecting one of your favorites, single click to go directly to the Prepare Report to Run screen. Skip to step 4.
  3. If you're not sure which report you want, highlight possible selections to see the Description in Full View screen, where you can read a Description and, where available, view a Report Sample. Once you decide, click the Prepare Report to Run button (or press Alt+N) to continue.
  4. Specify the report Destination and Printer or export name, as appropriate. (We recommend sending the report to display prior to printing, so you can confirm that your report is as expected).
  5. Enter the values that define the report. Some fields in the value column may be left blank, while others (particularly ID fields) must be completed with an appropriate ID or an asterisk (also referred to as a wildcard), which indicates "all."
    1. If a field contains default entries, review these for accuracy, and modify as appropriate. If you delete a value that has auto-filled, you cannot leave that field blank.
    2. You can type in values or select from drop-down menus. Access the menu by clicking on the downward arrow that appears after clicking on the field. Make your selection by highlighting the desired option. The Select from list menu option allows you to search for values in a manner similar to the F5 Lookup.
    3. If placing multiple values on one line (either using the Select from list option or entering items manually) separate them with a comma and do not add any space either before or after any value.
  6. When values have been completed as desired, use the Run Report button (Alt+N) to run the report.
