Attaching Multiple Files

On occasion, you may find it useful to attach multiple files to the same patient's record in a single Attach File action. You may select multiple files in the subdirectory by holding down the CTRL key as you click to select. When you select multiple files, SYSTOC is unable to display them for you to preview before attaching. In addition, you are permitted to use only one Task ID and description for all the files selected. Each file you select attaches to the patient's medical record with an individual order, but all the orders will have the same Task ID and description. If you use the attach multiple files functionality, go to an orders grid to view the files you attached to verify that each one belongs with the patient ID you entered. You should also modify each Item Description to make the attached file easy to identify.
