ACIP: Clarifications to Adult Immunization
Schedule
[Posted 01/18/2010]
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP),
part of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), has
updated and clarified current recommendations for
vaccinations in adults. ACIP reviewed the adult
immunization schedule in October and has published
its changes in the January 15, 2010 issue of the
Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR).
The CDC has made the schedule available in a variety
of formats (text, pdf, printer-ready), as
different-sized poster and pocket versions, and in
an alternative language (Spanish). A version has
also been developed for download to handheld
devices.
