DOT: No Changes to 49 CFR 40.67(b) Amendment

[Posted 10/27/2008] Following a commenting period, the Department of Transportation (DOT) will not be changing urine specimen collection procedures previously issued in a final rule in June. The amendment to 49 CFR 40.67(b) had been delayed in August. The amendment will now go into effect as scheduled on November 1, 2008: direct observation collection procedures are required for all return-to-duty and follow-up tests.
