New DOT Urine Specimen Collection Guidelines Take Effect August 25, 2008

[Posted 07/22/2008] The Department of Transportations Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Compliance has released new guidelines for the collection of urine specimens for drug and alcohol testing in support of the DOT Final Rule on Procedures for Transportation Workplace Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs (49 CFR Part 40) published in Vol.73, No.123 of the Federal Register. The new guidelines, which take effect August 25, 2008, are a complete revision of the prior guidelines.
