OSHA/EPA Occupational Chemical Database Available Online

[Posted 8/30/07] OSHA and the EPA have compiled and maintain a searchable occupational chemical database that is available online. It consists of information from several government agencies and organizations, and can be used as a convenient reference by the occupational safety and health community. The user interface offers multiple search options including a full or partial name search and search by CAS Number, as well as alphabetic listings and options for viewing certain categories of chemicals. Also available are database reports, including “Physical Properties,” “Exposure Guidelines,” “NIOSH Pocket Guide,” and “Emergency Response Information,” including the DOT Emergency Response Guide. In addition, an all-in-one “Full Report” is available.
