Reducing
Occupational Exposure to Lead

In a
further effort to reduce occupational exposures to
lead, OSHA issued a new directive CPL 03-00-0009
that supersedes previous OSHA instruction CPL
02-00-130. The new directive aids OSHA’s field
inspection efforts to address lead exposures in the
workplace. Part of this assistance is in the way of
an appendix that lists industries where lead
exposures occur.
