Over 13,000 Employers with High Injury/Illness Rates

[Posted 04/23/2009] The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has released its list of 13,500 employers that had injury and illness rates higher than the national average. OSHA notified these employers in April and has provided them access to free assistance programs to address these safety concerns.

“Employers whose businesses have injury and illness rates this high need to take immediate steps to protect their workers,” said acting Assistant Secretary of Labor Jordan Barab in a prepared statement.
